Kauri Gum Industry Amendment Bill, Auckland Harbour Board Bin powering Bill, Hukarere Native Girls’ School Amendment Bill wore put through their final stages and passed. Progress was reported on the Magistrate’s Court Amendment Bill, consideration of Clause 2. which deals with limitation of powers as to attachment of debts, being postponed. Tho Council adjourned at 4.20 p.m. THE; HOUSE. The House was engaged all the day in passing the Imprest Supply Bill and authorising the expenditure of £1.194,800 which finally was agreed to at 1.30 a.m. when the Tlmiso rose till 7.30 o’oelnek on Monday evening.
