TOWN HALL PICTURES. “SILVER FJXOKHS"— TO-NIGIIT. To-night (Saturday) at 8.30 o’clock Town Hull Pictures present George Larkin in “Silver Fingers”. The athletic George Lkirkin plays the part ot a slick crook. Larkin takes a keen interest in the parts which he essays, and lie determined to get the real “low down” on the underworld. Accordingly he put on an old stiit and a tough looking cap and sauntered into S'*n Francisco’s Chinatown, one dav. He wasn’t looking for trouble but as he sauntered along, a charactre who looked like the original hard boiled egg. stopped him and before he could sav Jack Roberston, delivered a Vick Dempsey to his jaw. A half dozen other gorillas appeared like , magic and Larkin was surrounded by whirring fists. His prowess as a rough and tumble fighter stood him in good stead, but it wasn’t before he hud knocked three of his attackers cold, that a new arrival stopped the fight just as Larkin had twisted a wickedlooking dirk from the liaml of Mn assailant, by telling them that they luui the wrong man. Larkin is noted for his athletic prowess, and strength, which he has demonstrated upon more than one occasion to his colleagues, to their complete discomfiture. He excels especially as a boxer and wrestler. As “Silver Fingers” he lias ample opportunity to play up those qualities which liave endeared him to movie fans the world over. The 9th episode of the serial “The Purple Riders,” a News and Comedy complete a fine programme.
