Mr Theodore anounced he has received a communication from Mount Morgan Coy. proposing sliding scale terms fo r resumption, to he bettered as tho copper and gold markets improved. Mr Theodore added that tho proposal word possibly lead to a resumption. He was submitting it to the unions. LABOUR CONFERENCE. MELBOURNE, June 20. ANTHRAX FATALITY. BRISBANE, This Day. A man has died in the general hospital from anthrax poisoning. He purchased a shaving brush at a Japanese second-hand shop. The brush has since been boiled for nine hours, but the microbes are still alive.
