Mr Aufitey,- Cbmmissoner of Crown Lands, and Mr Harvey, Minister of Agriculture, both Nationalists, have resigned from the Peak Government. This means the breaking up of the Coalition and creation of a Liberal Government.
During the visit of the Prince of Wales to Hokitika, in May, HAH. will present the following medals personally to local soldiers: French war cross, Corporal Garnberazzi of Goldsborougli; D.0.M., Sergt. W. R. Cherrie, Ross; Meritorious Medal, Q.M. Sergt, W. A. Head, Kanicri; Military Medal, Corp. Robert Foster, Ross. The decorations will be presented most probably at the time of the arrival subsequent to the presentation of the public address.
