The coalminers conference, attei hear the executive’s report, following r further interview with the Government, decided to submit two questions to a ballot of all miners, returnable on 15th April, whether to accept Government’s new offer of twenty per cent, increase with a guarantee of a minimum of 2s per shift over eighteen, and Is between sixteen and seventeen, and 9d under sixteen, payable from Ist March.
