The National Bank of New Zealand hag received a cable advising that it is ■ proposed to declare a’ dividend of 6 per cent, on paid-up capital, equalling 13 per cent, for the year ended March 31st. £15,000 has been added to tho reserve fund, which will then he £715,000, and £42,000 has been carried forward. The directors further allocated £20,000 in a reduction on the Bank Pensions Account, and granted a bonus of 10 per cent, to tho staff.
