His right leg was smashed.from the knee to tho ankle, and the loft foot and hand were mutilated. No one on tho train tvtas aware of the accident. AUCKLAND, Jan. 21.—The body of a man named Peter Cornwall was found this morning in the harbour. Apparently fr;om a letter found on the body the deceased canto from Taumaruuui.
ADELAIDE, Jan. 21. The A/felaidje express [train front Broken Hfill collided with a goods tram slight, wi'.tli shocks and abrasions, three fromStoekport. 33 wore injured, mostly being serious. There was heavy damage to rotlling stock, several carriages and trucks* being smashed.
