A Shocking ChargeLONDON, Jan 19 Tlie “Morning Post’s” Pai’is correspondent states: — A girl recently as Lille makes a terrible indictment against German deportations. The soldiers raided houses in the middle of the night. Machine guns are trained in the streets. Well-to-do umuarried girls are taken haphazard with prostitutes in order that all may be reduced to the same level. Beforo going they are threatened witli-a revolver and forced to sign a statement that they are going voluntarily. All girls are placed at tho disposal of officers and men and subjected to strict medical examination. A family ransomed one girl by tlio payment, of 2000 marks. The only others returned liavo fallen ill, became eneiente or are suffering from nervous jdiseasie. Several are insane.
