SOUTH TARANAKI INTERESTS

Sir, —The directors of the West Coast Refrigerating Company are to be congratulated upon the circular letter to dairy farmers and business jjeople relative to the carrying on of the Pa tea meat works, and such energy is sure to be rewarded with success. This matter is of very particular importance to- Hawera, and might I suggest, sir, that the Mayor should be invited to call a publjjfi meeting of citizens to have the positi^k carefully placed before them. We are all rated for Patea harbour, asid this is one of our vital assets. —I am, etc.,
