SCARCITY IN WELLINGTON

WELLINGTON, Jan. 12. As a result of the large amount of building work in progress in Wellington there is a marked scarcity of bricklayers, and it is stated that skilled men in this avenue of irdustry are so fujly employed that it is impossible to obtain one for several weeks to come.
