MARTON, Jan. 2. For the second day of the Marton meeting the weather was fine, the attendance good, and the going hard. The totalisator handled £28,015, against £28,657 last year. For the meeting the total was £64,791, against £66,138 last year. Results.— Junction Plate, 5 furlongs.—Siaosi (L. G. Morris) 1. Dangle 2, Azecta 3. All started. Won by three lengths, a length between second and third. Time, 1.1.

Second Hurdles, about 1£ miles. — Anxious Moments (F. Corbett) 1, Santiago 2, Highway 3. All started. Won by four lengths, four lengths between second and third. Time, 2.41 3-5.

Electric Handicap, 7 furlongs.— Panim (C. McCarthy) 1. Red Cherry 2, Sir Pam 3. Scratched: Deborahs Won by 1^ lengths, a length between second and third. Time, 1.28. Aid worth Stakes, 1 mile and a distance. —Admiral Codrington (R. McKie) 1, Scotch Mixture 2, Velociform 3. Scratched: Ngata, Black Cruiser. Won by U lengths, two lengths between second and third.
