The Republican programme, issued on the eve of the elections in Ireland, ,is a catalogue of fair promises of, inter alia, justK-e, brotherhood, the abolition .of murder gangs, the safeguarding of life and property, religious and political toleration, the wiping out of all internal dissention and bitterness, the ending of unemployment by remunerative .works, the development of industries, the provision of workers' houses, the restoration of the Irish language to its rightful place, and finally an offer to England of peace based on the sovereignty and integrity of the Irish nation. The programme offers northeast Ulster peace based on such a measure of local autonomy as is consistent with the unity of Ireland.— Reuter.
