SHEEPSKINS, HIDES AND TALLOW SALE. I The New Zealand Loan and Mercan- j tile Agency Co., Ltd., Wellington, report : The usual sale of. hides, skins and j tallow was • held on Friday by the ' various brokers. A fair catalogue of all j classes was offered to a full attendance j of exporters, fellmongers, tanners, and j the "local trade. Values for all dry sheepskins were about on a par with last side. In sympathy with the Australian market, hides showed a further decline. Heavies were down id, light and medium-weight id to lower, kip and yearlings were on a par, while calf were' slightly easier. Tallow was in good demand, and sold up to 31s per cwt.
