DUNEDIN, August 4. A week's continuous fine weather left the grounds in splendid order for the Rugby matches to-day, and the weather conditions were excellent. i Obagq Boys' High School defeated Waitaki High School by 11 points to 3, after a fine exhibition of the game. The club matches were concluded, University A finishing with an unbeaten record. Kaikorai and' Alhambtra played off for second place, Alhambra winning by seven points to three. Pirates struck true form r and almost succeeded in lowering University A's colours in the final club game of the season. Pirates played the students at their own game—a fast and open display, and were leading by two points a minute before time. Then Harty goaled from a free kick and placed University one point ahead, the scores being ! University A 18 points, Pirates 17. 1 University 822 be^t Dunedin G; Zingari 14 beat Southern 4; Union 6 beat Taieri Rovers nil. The final points are: University A 24, Alhambra. 18, Kaikorai 17, Zingari 14, University B 12, Southern 12, Pirates 9, Dunedin 6, Union 6, Taieri Rovers 2.
