ANNUAL CONFERENCE
(by tblegbaph —press association ) I AUCKLAND, July 19. ■ At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Jersey Breeders' Association, the president, Mr McLennan., presiding, the report stated that the membership was 1138. The cattle registered during the year totalled 6288, against 4311 for the Breeding year. The certificates issued" totalled 544; against 375, the grand total now being 1b23, wiith an average of 420,21 lbs of butter-fat. The recipts amounted to £3767, and the credit balance £960. Messrs E. McLennan, A. E. Missen, and W. H. Booth were elected members of the council. " . (
