LONDON, July 17

Lite Daily Express' Berlin correspondent states that the blockade of occupied territory, winch, was ex.pected to end on the loth at midnight, has been extended for ten days. Thousands of German women and children, finding that there were no trains, attempted to walk across the frontier., many with their belongings in handcarts. The poilus allowed none to pass. —Aus.-N.Z.
