UTTINGER-LANG.

A very pretty wedding was solemnised at the Catholic Church, ManaS 5f +tT- T Pather"O'D^- when Miss .Matilda Lang, only daughter of Mr and Mrs. Lang.-of Palmerston Northwas united m the bonds of matrimony to Mr. Alois Uttinger, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. .Uttinger, of Okaiawa. ihe bride, who was given away by her father, was gowned in a dainty frock of cream satin, with overdress of'beautiful lace, trimmed with pearls, with ■i an£ oran «c blossoms. "She also carried a beautiful bouquet of cream roses and maidenhair fern. The chief bridesmaid Miss Anne Dunne, of Palmerston North, wore a pretty frock of lavender satin, with georgette sleeves and panels to match, trimmed with silver lace Ihe second bridesmaid. Miss Rosa, Uttinger, sister of the bridegroom, wore a pale pink brocaded satin frock, trimmed withi - beads.- Both bridesmaids wore black tulle hats, and carried suitable bouquets. The duties of best man were ably carried out by Mr. Ernest Uttinger. brother of the bridegroom. A suitable selection was played by Mrs. Hilles (organist) as the bridal party entered the church, and after the 'ceremony Mendelssohn's Wedding March as the bridal yarty left the "church. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a .beautiful gold wristlet watch, and to the- bridesmaids a nretty gold bracelet and a kodak respectively. After the wedding ceremony the guests, numbering over 100, -adjourned to the Town Hall, where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was partaken of and the usual toasts duly honoured. Later in the day the happy couple left for their honeymoon, which is to be spent in the north, the bride travelling'in a navy blue tailored costume, with hat to match.
