SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING. A special general meeting of th© bouth Taranaki Returned Soldiers' Association was held in the club rooms last evening to discuss matters arising out of the constitution as particularly aftecting the secretaryship of the local association. The president (Mr J A Cameron) occupied the chair, and upl wards of 50 members were in attendance. A lengthy discussion took place concerning various amendments to th* rules, which at the last animal meeting bad resulted in some misunderstanding regarding the appointment of the horT secretary, the meeting subsequently passing a motion that the appointment >r the present hon. secretary, Mr. W E. Williams, was in order. In 'con- ' jlusion the meeting unanimously ex- -Ijressed the opinion that the late hon j iecretary, Mr. W. A.
