+ MINISTERIAL APPOINTMENTS. (by telegraph -prers association.) . DUNEDIN, June 8. The Prime Minister announced that the Hon. J. G. Coates (Minister for Public Works) has been appointed Minister for Railways in succession to the Hon. D. H. Guthrie. who has resigned the portfolio on account of ill-health. Mr. Massey, wno has had a strenuous time, since his arrival in Dunedin, will leave for Wellington to-morrow morning. The Hon. W. Doymie Stewart will accompany the Premier north.
