He has swept away 21 boards of commission in connection with the Ministry of Agriculture, comprising 332 officials.1 He also dismissed a thousand army officers, abolished- 20 educational boards: with a large number of superfluous1 officers, suppressed the national unem-l ployment board and tlie labour insur-; ance board, which will effect an annual, saving of several milliards of lire.— Aus.-N.Z.
