CLUB FORMED AT NORMANBY
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Thfe meeting called for Saturday evening proved successful, there being a good attendance and a number sent apologies. Mr. C. Paine presided. On the motion of Messrs Slinger and Yorke it was decided to form a club to play on Wednesdays and to compete m the competitions. The following officers were elected: I Patron, Mr. R. J. Linn; president, Mr. O. Goad; vice-presidents, Messrs Pres- . ton, Poole Buckley, G. Galloway, F. , Riddle, B.C. Gibson, Home-Giles, W. Hair; captain, Mr. H. J. Taylor; vicecaptain, Mr. H. Le Fleming; committee, Messrs Slinger, Yorke, F. Mills, J. j Linn, F. Atkins j, treasurer, Mr. L. Slinger; secretary, Mr. C. Paint?, ivith the captain or, in his absence, the vicecaptain, as selector of team. The annual subscription was fixed at 10s\" and for lads under 18 years Ss. The secretary was instructed to secure a supply of necessary material as early as possible. i The Normanby team to play Hawera iat Normanby on Wednesday, at 1.30 p.m is: Slinger, Le Fleming, 5. Linn, Atkins, Hopcroft, Hughes, Taylor, i Laurent, Forbes, Tippett, Norfolk, j Mills, Leyman, Binns.
