. ATHLETICS. HAWERA CLUB'S EVENING MEETING. The Hawera Amateur Athletic Club's first evening meeting of the season was ; held at the Park yesterday, and was a! great success. There were large imrn-! bers of starters in all the events, and the competitors' keenness was appre-' ciated by a crowd of onlookers.
