REDUCTION OF ONE SHILLING

PER WEEK

(BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.)

WELLINGTON, Oct. 9. The Arbitration Court anounces a reduction in the coal miners' wages equal to a shilling per week, as compared with 10s weekly in the last pronouncement. This order is made in accordance with the provision of the clause headed "Variation of Rates," and will operate from November Ist next.
