NEW YORK, Oct. 6. At Hulton, Pennsylvania, Hagen was. leading Sarazen 2 up at tlie end of 36 holes of a 7-2-hole match, to decide theworld's championship, for a purse of 3000 dollars, the biggest in golfing history. The remaining 36 holes will be played on Saturday at Rye, New York.
NEW YORK, Oct. 7. At Rye, Sarazen defeated Hagen, 3 up and 2.
