The National Dairy Association has received the following cablegram from its London office, dated July 29: The butter market is inactive and there is nothing doing. The Scottish and northern markets have been lost to us through forcing prices too high To-day's prices are: Danish 200s, New Zealand the same. No business is doing.

For cheese there is better inquiry at the reduction. White is quoted at 86s to 88s and coloured at 84s.
