The Government Meteorologist telegraphed to-day : —The indications are for south-easterly winds, moderate to strong, freshening and backing by east to north. Expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts. Rain probable. The barometer has a, falling tendency. Seas rough; tides moderate.
