FORTUNE AT STAKE

A strange gamble on the life of a man, who is at present in prison, with a fortune at stake, will be held on the 24th, when the Official Receiver will auction the insurance policies of Farrow, one of the directors pf Farrow's Bank. If Farrow dies within a year the purchaser clears £80,000, but if he lives for 20 years only a few thousand, the annual premium being £3000. Farrow is aged 50, and is in good health.
