FIRE DAMP.
EXPLOSION AT COLLIERY
BUCHAREST, May 1. As the result of an explosion, due to fire damp, at a colliery at Lupini, there have been 160 casualties. Eightytwo of these are either dead or terribly mutilated. The explosion was due to a short circuit.
