WEDDING.
ARNOLD—BELL
A quiet wedding was solemnised : ; t the Presbyterian Church, Hawera the Rev. B. H. Gray afficiating. The'contracting parties were Mr Bruce Cail Arnold, fourth son of Mr and Mrs L. H Arnold, of Nolantown, and, Miss Rita. Ivy Clarice Bell, youngest daughter of; Mr* and Mrs W. M. Bell, of Hamilton. The bride, who was given away by heffather, looked nice in a smart braided navy costume and hat to match of navy blue and jade green, and carried a shower liouquet of asparagus and white dahlias. The bridesmaid, Miss OliveArnold, wore a pretty frock of wedgewood blue annuel- cloth and carried a shower bouquet of asparagus and cosmas. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr Frank Wilson, of Hawera. The happy couple left amid showers of rice and confetti for Wanganui. where the honeymoon will be spent.
