ENGINEERS KILLED.

; ; LONDON. Sept. 10. Three engineers were killed and three injured during an explosion oa the German submarine Deutchsland, which crossed the Atlantic during the war and is now being dismantled at Birkenhead. The men were stripping the motor room when the explosion took place. The cause is unknown. The men were flung against tho sides of the vessel. Volunteers- pluckily defended into the smoking interior and brought out the bodiies. The fire was quickly extinguished.
