On Wednesday next at 2 p.m. a football match, Meremere v. Mokoia, will be played on the Mokoia grounds. The Mokoia team will be picked from the following players: Baldwin (2), Wills (3), Hunt (5), Smith, Tidswell, Hawken, Harris, Nickel, Marsh, Grant, Robinson. Players are requested to be on the grounds at 1 p.m. sharp. Any of the above unable to play should communicate with the captain, Mr. T. Nickel without delay. The first screening of the newly inaugurated circuit.of weekly pictures under the management of Mr. R, Strong, took place on Thursday evening. There was a large audience. Should the standard of these pictures be maintained these entertainments should become very popular.
