BEST COMPETITION AT WOOL SALES SO FAR.

BY CABLE—PBBSS ASSOCIATION—COPYPvIGHT

(Received May 11, 1.50 p.m.) LONDON, May 10. The B.A.W.R.A. wool sale shows the l>est competition so far, as prices all round are distinctly harder and less irregular. The Continent is operating very freely, especially in broken and pieces, which show the greatest appreciation. Yorkshire is more active than last week. Low crossbreds are fully firm, but slipes were mostly withdrawn, the reserves being too high.
