The principal decreases in imports are: Raw cotton £26,962,960, hides and skins £5,136,----218, dutiable foods and drink £4,958,----128, oil seeds, etc., £4,460,036, wool £3,654,090, grain and flour £3,522,224. The chief decreases in exports are: 1 Cotton yarns manufactures £21,276,562, coal £6,528,265, woollen worsted yarns manufactures £6,013,120. The chief in•crease in imports is meat £6,002,380, -and the increases in exports include machinery £3,732,639.
