THE NEW AGREEMENT
(BY TELEGBAPH —PBESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 16. There was a largely attended meeting of railwaymen at Petone last evenr; ing, when the president (Mr. R. Hamp_| ton) and the general secretary (Mr. i M. J. Mack) of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants attended to explain the new agreement. A motion of censure on the -executive was defeated, and it was unanimously decided to take a iballet of members on the question of accepting or rejecting the agreement.
