REPRISALS BY CROWN FORCES.

I (Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.) 'LONDON, Feb. 10. Following on the wounding of a constable at*- the Crown, forces burnt oleven houses, -bringing the occupants; including women, out of' the houses in night attire. The inhabitants, who were panic-stricken, took refuse in neighbouring country houses. The damage amounts to many thousands.

The blockhouse system has been established, over, a wide area in Western Kerry, and a round-up in the mountains is proceeding.
