NEW TRAFFIC BRIDGE.

DARGAVILLE, Dec. 15. The associated local bodies conference, presided over by Mayor Hornblow, of Bargaville. unanimously decided to accept Mr G. M. Eraser's tender of £37.----533 for the erection of a traffic bridge across the Wairoa river at Dargaville. This does not include the approaches, machinery, etc. When completed, it will be tile largest undertaking of the sort in the North Island. The work will be started forthwith.
