Recent offers of transportation, by the Peruvian 'Government for Britisti emigrants are resulting in official consideration by the Foreign Office of the general question of emigration to youth America. The officials admit frankly that they look with disfavour upon the British emigration to South and Central America. Previous experiments, as in Argentine before tne war, proved unsuccessful, and numbers of British subjects were Istranded or repatriated, the Britons being unable to cope with the' problems of life in their new homes.
