STABBING AFFAIR AT FLAXCUTTERS' CAMP.
* WHAKATANE, June 16
At the flaxcutters' Grainger's camp at Thornton on Sunday, Alexander Cameron was stabbed in the loin with a sheath knife, the wound penetrating two and a hair "inches and just missing being a fatal wound to the kidneys. Patrick Lally,, who was arrested, was charged with the offence yesterday and remanded for a week. .
