HOMEBUSH MEAT MARKET
SYDNEY, June 15. For many months the Homebush market has been overcrowded with stock from the drought-stricken areas, and amongst other offerings were many thousands of breeding ewes and young wethers, which sold at sacrificing prices. With the coming of the rain, however, the position has completely altered, and the.re is a great demand for restocking purposes. This has caused prices rocket, and a largely depleted market for the mutton supply. In a lesser degree the cattle market has been similarly affected.
