. t Messrs J. .Lynskey (Wellington) G Nicholson (Auciiiand), and D, J Ma-lone-(Taranaki). selectors of the i\'brth island team were present in New Ply.mouth, on Saturday for;; the purpose & selecting:: the North Island football team_ which is to do battle against the bouth Island team at Wellington in a: fortnight's time (says the News).
