BRITISH CASUALTIES. GENERAL DENIKEN'S RECONSTRUCTION PROPOSALS.

casualties in Russia were: 175 killed. 341 died of wounds, 310 wounded, and 154 missing or taken prisoner. General Deniken has outlined proposals for the re-establishment of Russian industry, the development of labor legislation, providing legal rights to " owners of factories, State control of industries in the interests of national economy, increased output, all possible means of co-operation between employers and employees, the establishment of eight-hours day, and arbitration and
industrial courts, and measures against unemployment!.
