CABLE DELAYS.
.LONDON, July 24. In .the House of Commons Mr Albert Illingworth (PostmasterrGeneral), in explaining the delays, said the ordinary .capacity of the .cables was" 250,000 .words jiaily, but .various interruptions reduced this to 167,000. The Government traffic was now 18 times greater than before -the .war.
