(Received June 3, 9.55 a.m.) WASHINGTON, June 2. Senator Johnson, in the Senate, said that the League of Nations was in reality a great war trust. It was certain to cause future wars, and had rivetted a chain of tyranny upon millions of Chinese through its Shantung decision. Open covenants of peace were now a joke and a by-word.
