v INVERCARGILL, May 28. At the Supreme Court sittings, Nathaniel Charles Bates, found guilty ot indecent assault on a married woman, was fined £15 and ordered to pay the costs of the prosecution. Thomas Watson McGill was acquitted on a charge of carnal knowledge of a girl under sixteen.
