SIMLA, May 13

Reports from Landi Kotal show that the Afghans were heavily punished on the 11th inst. We captured six guns. The enemy's losses in killed were about 100, excluding casualties inflicted by aeroplanes.

The Darrajat and Bannu borders report all quiet, and the demeanor of all the independent tribes continues to be satisfactory.

Our total casulties to the 12th inst were: British killed, 4; wounded, 19, Indians killed, 7; wounded, 22.
