Owing to the pressure pf war news and the tremendous issues at stake, we feel that an absence of news from this afternoon until next Tuesday afternoon would be unfair to the public. The Consul-General of Japan in Aus-, tralia has received fiom his Govern-:-ment new regulations concerning the entry of aliens into his country. All . aliens, excepting members and families ' of diplomatic and consular bodies and; other Government representatives, ana • masters and crews of foreign vessels! must produce passports before they will j be permitted to land. Consuls are in-; structed to^ satisfy themselves that in- !
