MINERS CONFER WITH MINISTER (By Telegraph—Special to Star.) WELLINGTON, March 27. Representatives of the State coalminers and Paparoa miners, now on. 1 strike, interviewed the Premier and Minister of Mines (Hon. W. I). S. MacBonald) to-day regarding the trouble and the Government's ultimatum. It transpired that the men have no cause for dissatisfaction with the State management, but the Paparoa miners require the reinstatement of the men dismissedThe , Government's warning had been, communicated to both mines. The conference had no definite result, but the men will meet the Ministers again on Thursday (to-day), after which Cabinet proposes to consider the situation.
