SOCIAL HYGIENE ACT
WAIMATE, March 8. The Waimate Hospital Committee today discussed the menace disclosed by the case of a venereal victim who applied for admission to the institution. The committee passed a resolution asking the Minister to have the Social Hygiene Act amended, so as to provide for compulsory examination in euspected cases, the idea being similar to' the safeguards provided under the Lunacy Act.
