FRIDAY, AUGUST 3
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed to-day as follows:—The indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds, with a southerly tendency. The weather will probably prove squally with heavy showers; barometer unsteady, wirt>h a rising tendency; sea rough; tides good.
