(Received July 13, 1.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 13. The Government is offering £1000 reward for information concerning persons responsible for the explosions on the Cumberland.
MELBOURNE, July 13. In the House of Representatives Mr Hughes said the shipping agreement with the British Govmernment provided that it would lift six hundred thousand bushels of wheat monthly, but owing to submarines during June, not one bushel had been shipped. Unless a new outlet were found by next February, there would be six million tons of vheat in the country.
In the Senate, Senator Milieu gave noti^o of motion to introduce the Repatriation Bill and a Bill to repeal the Daylight Saving Act. Supply was passed.
The Shipbuilding Union Delegates' Conference resolved to adopt the Government's proposals.
ADELAIDE, July 13. The Governor has asked Mr Peake to form a Ministry.
BRISBANE, July 13. Shearing is held up at Charleville and Longbeach owing to the men demanding a forty-four-hour week.
